Home Made

Cakes and More

If there is one thing you can’t go home without, it has to be a home baked cake.  Some of the tried and tested recipes from last year’s Centenary Cook Book are sure to make an appearance, and Grandma’s recipes have been dusted off as well.  Come to the downstairs hall area and browse the many baked goods we have on offer.  Our best bakers are on task to make this year’s cakes, biscuits and slices the best yet!

The cornerstone of any good fete has to be the Sweets Stall.  Indulge your sweet tooth with all-time favourites and some new home made temptations.  Choose from a fantastic selection of moorish treats…You won’t regret it!

The Condiment Queen

Marjorie Weber is ‘The Condiment Queen’! Make a beeline to her stall and you’ll  find a great range of jams, marmalades, chutneys and pickles that simply walk out the door – some old favourites and other new taste sensations, all at very reasonable prices.

Come and say ‘Hi’ and pick up a jar of Marjorie’s delectable work for those indulgent morning teas, breakfasts or lunches.  You’ll find her next to the Cakes and Sweets stalls.

Gifts & Greetings

There is something for everyone at this stall – Quill pens, magical fairy wands and pretty hair ties to dinosaur terrariums and animal coat hooks! There will be lots of things to decorate the kids’ bedrooms. Inspirational bus scrolls will be in abundance, as well as ever-popular shadow box frames.

For family fun you can pick up a DIY Sundae Kit or some great conversation starter cards for banter at the dinner table, if you’re fearing the kids are more ‘tech’ than ‘talk’ these days! There will also be some sweet lunchbox notes you can surprise the kids with.

Get in early for a fabulous Christmas, with gorgeous burlap bunting and decorations, an amazing chalkboard wreath and sensational advent calendar. Lou is making a beautiful array of gift cards and tags to complement any gift.
